Simple Duplicate Finder is a handy and reliable utility designed to detect and remove duplicate pictures and files.


When using Windows to download pictures from your digital camera, microsoft windows inserts xml data into the images, this data also includes a timestamp of when the image was downloaded to the computer. This causes a problem trying to search for duplicate pictures since the exact same picture is no longer binary identical. 


Simple Duplicate Finder will ignore the NON-picture related data in the jpeg file, such as comment markers, application data, ect. Only the image contents of the file will be compared.
